Lynn Hallbrooks considers herself an author/reader. In high school, she took classes that encouraged reading and writing but life took her on a different career path. First, she served in the US Air Force and learned the ins and outs of what became known as Health Information Management. She continued this as a civilian. In 2010, life took another turn and she began working with David McKoy (may he rest in peace) to create the Call Sign: Wrecking Crew series where she infused her knowledge of medicine and the military throughout the stories. She also founded Call Sign Wrecking Crew, LLC where more recently she has published non-fiction works and helped fellow authors behind the scenes. \n\nSome of her all-time favorite authors include Agatha Christie, Anthony J. Melchiorri, Dee Henderson, James P. Sumner, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, Patricia Cornwell, Robin Cook, and Steven Konkoly. This is just the tip of the iceberg. She adores reading works by Independent Authors.\n\nWhen not reading, writing, or doing housework she watches television and sometimes catches herself analyzing why the writers did things a certain way. She wholeheartedly believes that the best thing Earth offers is chocolate and that's why it is her favorite planet. \n\n
